Vision
A world where everyone has the space, support, and tools to heal and grow at their own pace through the power of mindfulness.
We believe mindfulness is a universal right, not a privilege, and envision a future where presence, peace, and compassion are accessible to all.
Mission
At Mindfulnish, our mission is to make mindfulness affordable, inclusive, and deeply human.
We offer clinically informed and heart-centered services, including mindfulness-based programs, guided meditation, stress management coaching, and group learning sessions.
Our goal is to meet people where they are and create a safe, welcoming space where everyone is supported to find peace, clarity, and balance at their own pace.

About our Founder
Denish Gunawan, MD, MPH
Denish Gunawan’s path to founding Mindfulnish began with a powerful question: how can we care for the mind as deeply as we care for the body?
Born in Singkawang and raised in Jakarta, Denish completed his medical degree at Universitas Atma Jaya. Early in his career, he felt a deep calling to go beyond conventional medicine and explore healing through mindfulness, meditation, and movement.
He became a certified yoga instructor and mindfulness coach, sharing accessible and heart-centered practices with communities in Jakarta. His passion for bridging Eastern wisdom with scientific research led him to Brown University in the U.S., where he earned a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Mindfulness—graduating summa cum laude.
Awarded a full scholarship from the Indonesian government through the LPDP program, Denish collaborated with professors at Brown to develop a mindfulness curriculum for medical students, which became the foundation of his thesis. His work focused on adapting mindfulness for diverse cultural contexts and building inclusive models of mental health care.
Upon returning to Indonesia, Denish founded Mindfulnish with a mission: to make mindfulness-based healing accessible, affordable, and culturally grounded for everyone.
Today, through therapy, workshops, education, and community support, he continues to guide others to reconnect with themselves—one mindful breath at a time.
